Every Scout Deserves a Trained Leader! Every Leader deserves training so s/he can successfully deliver the
scouting program!
Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters are considered trained when they have completed Youth Protection,
New Leader Essentials, Scoutmaster Specific Training, and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.
Troop Committee Members are considered trained when they have completed Youth Protection, New Leader
Essentials, and Committee Specific Training.

where you can create an account in MyScouting and complete most of your training through E-Learning. Of
course there is always additional training available such as Woodbadge which is the most advanced training for
adult leaders. Check back here often for updates on training available in our area or through the local council.
